The new ArtWorks 2.9, released at the Wakefield Show 2009, allows anti-aliasing and transparency information to be included in exported bitmaps by offering Sprite and PNG export with alpha masks. This finally makes it easy to create bitmaps that blend perfectly into any background, which is ideal for web and icon design. Photo-real printing for RISC OS

Gutenprint for RISC OS offers high-quality photo-real printer drivers with support for more than 1400 printer models (photo-real quality is mainly available for Epson photo printers, not for Canon printers).
